we've been buying horse food, flowers, mulch, and more from poole's for over 30 years - - always friendly, stocked with great stuff, and a lovely location to boot. they have great snacks and sandwiches - plus a bench with a nice spot to sit right by the water. just a mile or so from the towpath, it's a favorite spot for locals.

The Raymond Poole store will live on,, despite the auction and technical closure on 12/31/2010.  Stay tuned for future operation that the MontCo Parks Dept will choose in early 2011.  In the meantime, thanks to Calvin and Mickey Day for stepping in to keep feed and bedding supplies in stock
