Both Brittainy and Matthew’s passion for fresh food started at a young age. Brittainy’s love of baking was passed down from her grandmother, and Matt grew up with homegrown produce and his mother’s cooking. The couple’s combined love for each other and quality food led them to create Poppy Cake Baking Company. Since opening in 2013, we’ve become the local go-to spot for homemade bread and pastries. Giving back to the community is one of our top goals, so we use local ingredients and bake everything daily in-house. When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the aroma of freshly baked bread and a friendly smile. You’ll leave with a fresh-made sandwich, hot drip coffee, and your return trip already planned.
