The women working here were very kind and attentive, but my gel manicure lasted a week and 1 day before the first one peeled off. When I pay $30 to get my nails done, I expect them to last longer than that.

I had gotten my hair styled and had also gotten a message some time back in this so called “spa”. This place is nothing like a professional spa. A PROFESSIONAL spa should have a calm and tranquil atmosphere where a client may relax and enjoy the services a spa has to offer. All Port City Day Spa offers is a flashback from high school years where “girls”, not professional women,  are caddy and talk behind each other’s back. I couldn’t believe the malicious and hurtful gossip that was being spouted by these “professionals”. It was uncomfortable to be around and not at all pleasant to be listening to; it made me wonder what these “girls” were going to say behind my back when I left. The “owner” of the salon was the most unprofessional of all of the staff.  I was absolutely appalled at the staff’s behavior and the lack of the owner’s ability to control the staff.  I have not gone back since.  Again, this is not a spa, nor do professionals work there. I do not recommend this location.

They have been doing my hair for over a year now and I have never left with any other feeling than experiencing a great hair cut/color and a great atmosphere the ladies down there are absolutely wonderful! they did my bridal party this weekend they did a great job, made us snacks, and got us in and out and on our way!!!!!! they made my day run so smoothly! and if i do say so myself i looked absolutely beautiful and my now husband agrees!

I am a regular customer at Port City Day Spa. Why? I enjoy the service and the attention taken to make things right.  Accommodating, friendly, comfortable and professional -- just the right combination of qualities that create a welcoming atmosphere.  Customer service is a priority here -- you will feel special.
