Best to visit in summer when the place has more action. Active duty military service folks can board the ships and submarine for free (check though in case of change) Great amount of history to take in, including a circular lighthouse! Highly recommend a visit to the port!

Baltimore has done a good job of redeveloping this gem of a place. It's how an urban waterfront should be - accessible by public transport, safe, clean, walkable, and most importantly, packed with a neat set of attractions. There's green spaces, historic ships, an aquarium, harbor cruises, an observatory with sweeping views of the city, shops and restaurants. There is also a Visitor Center for tourists. This place is definitely the highlight of any visit to the city.

I've only been here once but I would tell everyone that this is a must-see. Me and my son did so much in the few hours that we were there. I am so glad that some families from the reunion recommended that we stop by here. I had never seen an actual Street performance and this guy was great. The Ripley's Believe It or Not ball was a big hit also. We enjoyed cruising around in the harbor on those little dinosaur boat things also. It was not very costly and when we went it was kind of cool so very nice end to the day.

No shortage of things to see or do. The old ships in the harbor were very cool to see and tour. Cost $18 for ticket to go though all 4 ships and kids 5 and younger were free.
