I've had the unfortunate experience of having to plan three funerals for loved ones and the responsibility for finding the right Funeral Home for each. Without a doubt, Porter's Funeral Home did an outstanding job of making the process more bearable for my family and me on each occasion. Everyone we dealt with here was kind, thoughtful, helpful and professional, which made the whole planning situation much easier for us to handle. I would highly recommend Porter's for your funeral needs.

My mother passed recently. It was sudden and we had not made plans, thus were in a bind. In my quest to find a quality cremation service at a decent price, I was told about the Mid states cremation website. I looked it up and found that everything was set up so that it was understandable, all their fees were right there. When I called, they were very helpful. The pricing was good and we were able to use paypal credit to pay for part of the service, which helped immensely. They were incredibly helpful, supportive and informative throughout the whole process. They kept in touch through every step, and I am very grateful for everything they did for us. I wouldn't wish that anyone would have to use their service anytime soon... But if in need, I highly recommend them.

The staff here did some amazing things. They scouted out the grave site, arranged for the church service, police escort, and everything. Truly fantastic.
