If you are needing the services of a cremation center, please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. I believe choosing to use the Cremation Center of Kansas City a wise choice. 
     As my best friend was nearing the final stages of death, I spoke with the hospice Chaplin who was working with her family. She told me that it  would now be a good time to take care of final arrangements. As I lived so far away from Kansas City, I asked the Chaplin if there were one or two cremation services in the area she would recommend. The Cremation Center of KC was one of two she mentioned. I looked online at their website and contacted them. 
     I cannot give a higher recommendation. At no time did I feel anything less than fully confident in my decision. Although I spoke with both Jim and Doug, most of my phone contacts were with Jim. He was both knowledgeable and gracious  throughout the process. I knew my friend was in good hands. The Cremation Center of Kansas City's prices were affordable, but the service and care they provided was exceptional.

Death is never an easy thing to face. My parents both wanted to be cremated so I knew what I had to do before they passed away. I called The Cremation Center based on a review on Angie's List. I know, a strange place to go for cremation services but I found a positive review so I gave them a call.  I was emotional as the end was drawing near for my mother. The man on the other end of the phone, Doug, had the voice of kindness, compassion and caring. He was incredibly patient, waiting until I could talk in between my crying. He helped me break things down into the steps and answered the questions I didn't even know to ask.  I honestly felt like I was getting a hug through the phone.

Doug presented all the options to me. He was straight forward with pricing and services and never tried to sell me anything. He was incredibly patient and so helpful. Both times when my parents passed, the two people that came to get them were extremely professional, just like Doug said they would be.  My parents were both draped in  beautiful  material as they left the building.

I met Doug in person for the first time after my mom passed. I had to sign the papers and pay for services. He was so gentle and caring. He truly was an enormous source of support in dealing with this horrible time. Once again, Doug was upfront with everything. There were no attempts to change the price I was given or talk me into something I didn't want.  When I went back to get the remains of my mother, he was equally as caring and compassionate.

I found the same experience with Doug when my father passed away a few months after my mother. He is as good as it gets when it comes to having to deal with such an unpleasant event. He made the process as easy as it could be. I asked him if I could hug him before I left on my last visit. He truly touched my heart with his kindness and compassion. I cannot recommend him and the Cremation Center of Kansas City highly enough.

They were professional, kind, and affordable.  They listened to my wishes and delivered on every one.  They gave me exactly what I asked for and didn't try to up-sell me.  I can easily recommend them.
