The Portland Regency Hotel and Spa is a boutique hotel in the heart of Portland, Maine. A founding member of the Historic Hotels Association, the Regency is housed in the former State of Maine Armory Building. Today, the hotel features modern details and amenities set against a backdrop of distinctly American architecture and historic charm.

In addition to luxurious overnight accommodations, the Regency features a full service spa, Twenty Milk Street restaurant and the ever popular Armory Lounge. Private parties are welcome to reserve one of six functions spaces. The of various sizes of these rooms is ideal for both social and corporate events.

This place is ideal for first time travellers! They allowed us to check in early, making our first day in Portland easier, and immediately enjoyable. The room was clean, the amenities fantastic and the staff very courteous. We will definitely stay there again if we come visiting to Portland again.

Fifth time staying here. Love it. Great clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient location for walking around and they have valet parking for a $20 charge added to your bill. I think it’s worth paying but I might be clueless about this kinda thing. 

Coffee in the AM is a plus. We like to come here when we need a weekend away from life. Trouble free.

Stopped in for an overnight while attending an event in Portland. It was a pleasant stay. The rooms are a modest size but nicely supplied with a fridge, desk, TV, Keurig machine was a nice surprise. The housekeeping wasn't great, our 1 year old kept finding trash in odd spots, old coffee pod laying around, etc. Staff was mostly nice enough. The only entrance to the hotel was covered in slippery ice and puddles, particularly for the course in Maine but wish it was a little maintained for guests.

This is probably the third or fourth time staying at the Regency, we love it here. The rooms are spacious and I'm pretty sure my partner wants to move in for the shower. Make sure to stop by the spa for a massage or at the very least relax in the steam room and hot tub.

Very helpful front desk people. I believe there is a valet but don't quote me. Located right down town in the historic old armory building, very beautiful spot with a lot of shopping and dining and bars. Also connected to a very classy cocktail lounge.
