Really good food for what you pay for with excellent lunch specials. I ended up getting 3 tamales with each of their three sauces as part of the lunch special. Very Tex-Mex'y flavored, but still bold and enjoyable. I found that the Mexican rice I was served with my meal had a bit of a freezer-burned flavor to it, but I wasn't too concerned as the rest of the meal was very filling. The service was on point, but I wouldn't say it went above and beyond in any way shape or form. Slightly better quality food (not having "off" flavors") and a little more personable staff would make this a 5 stars for me, especially with their price point.

Let me begin by stating that this review is in no way a review on the Posados restaurant, but of one of their employees. My family and I have been going to Posados restaurants for almost 8 years. We used to visit the one in Bossier but decided to start using this one in Shreveport because the service is better. The food is usually very good and like I said, this has nothing to do with the restaurant chain. The staff are usually courteous, polite and helpful. Today, (18 May 17) I can honestly say I was extremely disappointed and disgusted with their service. Our waitress (shown in the photo) was not attentive, she did not bring what we asked of her (which I would like to think was due to the woman she was "training" and is expected from new waitresses) and on top of everything else, she thought it was appropriate to have a ring pop on her finger (shown in the photo) while she brought our order. She could also be seen walking around the restaurant licking on the pop when she was in between tables. This is obviously very disgusting and I have never seen a waitress with so much "class" to think it was appropriate to bring a ring pop to work, lick it while serving food and act like it was no big deal. We brought this up to the manager afterwards who was extremely helpful. He was obviously concerned, especially after we showed him the photo. He offered to give us our food for free, but we declined. He said he was going to talk with her after we completed our conversation. Let me explain that we are not trying to get a free meal out of this. We are not trying to close down Posados chain because we understand this is an isolated incident. I would like to see this woman NOT working in the food industry because of how she acted. My family and I will be going back, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others but I would not want to be served by this woman again. I hope some action or removal is taken towards this woman so she doesn't get someone sick.

Although our server was extremely busy between the 3 of us and a group of 18,she was very nice and respectful. Unfortunately, our food came out cold,and the rest of the servers we observed were not as happy and polite,and some was even tucked away in a corner somewhere playing on there phone. All in all,our server was swamped,doing her best between all of us,and that's why I gave 3 stars.

Food was good. There is usually a little wait no matter what time you go. They make their own tortillas. Free soft serve ice cream on your way out.

When my party of 6 arrive we where told we had to wait even though there where several empty tables by a very unfriendly host. After a 20 minuet wait and watching atleast 6 couples and a family of 3 get seated I asked the host why we where having to wait when they had available tables, her reply I don't know my manager said party's of 5 or more had to wait. So then I asked well how much longer I mean you have done seat at least 8 people her reply I don't know, we'll will it be 5 minuets or 1 hour her reply I don't know. Finally we got a table and got our food witch tasted like a TV dinner. OUR WAITRESS HOWEVER WAS FANTASTIC VERY FRIENDLY AND TOOK VERY GOOD CARR OF SHE GOT A BIG TIP.
