So i got to hotel and after getting checked in asked about diner places and this place was recommended. It's literally 50 yards from the front door of the hotel and I'm not sure i will eat dinner anywhere else while I'm here. Gumbo was excellent and so was the pastalaya which they let me try.

Great food... amazing staff. Very helpful. The jambalaya was great (try it with the gumbo on top). The meal deal is what I always get

Incredible service and selection.  I recently purchased 25 plate lunches for a client and couldn't have been happier with the entire procedure.  The staff was upbeat and helpful, even going above and beyond.  The food was delicious, possibly even better than our beloved local fare.  They were also prompt with my sizable order, which was very important to me.  Lastly, they had tons of options as it pertains to side dishes - that's new to me. I'll be using them in the future without a doubt.

Jambalaya was nothing but rice and chucks of chicken and sausage. Gumbo was just chicken noodle soup without the noodles. Very disappointing, especially in Louisiana
