It was an easy walk from our hotel, Crown Plaza Cleveland At Playhouse Square. Food was one of the best sandwiche I have had in a long time. The service was great. First time to Cleveland for both of us.
Was eating half of a Mediterranean sandwich and bit something so hard I chipped part of my tooth… a piece of wood found in the sandwich. Disgusted by the lack of care in preparing food. 1 month later… So disappointed at potbelly, never will be eating here again. No one even reached out to apologize about this or follow up…
Who closes a good sandwich shop at 3pm on Saturday in downtown!!!!? The amount of business you guys are losing is mind blowing. I was there at 245 and I watched 5 people get turned away in 10 min...no one expects a place to close at 3pm...Food: 4/5
Nathan was extremely helpful when I needed lunch for 10 people at the last minute. He was patient on the phone, helpful in guiding me into the best options and friendly, quick and efficient in person when I came to pick it up. I wish they could take credit card over the phone, but he was ready and waiting for me when I rushed in to pay and grab the food.
If you are going to permanently change your store hours, I would suggest making your customers aware via the website with correct hours. No one should waste their time, finding parking, paying for parking… only to walk up and the store now closes at 3pm every day!!!!!
December 2021: I ordered the chicken club and Oreo cookie shake and it was good. The jalapeño peppers added a nice kick to the sandwich. Pros: * Location. In the heart of downtown Cleveland. * Good eats from people with local ties to the community. Cons: * It can take a while to get the food, but nothing too long. I believe that I waited 15 minutes.
A couple years ago I came to Cleveland from Canada! This restaurant in particular had the greatest service I’ve probably ever received! I did happen to be the only white person in their and to me I didn’t matter because they were treating me with so much compassion comfort and respect, go get yourself a therapeutic dining experience. I was so depressed at the time of my trip to Cleveland and that chicken sandwich I had a long with the service makes me defend Cleveland with my heart and soul! I don’t want to overreact but I’ve got an ED and depends on the food I might be eating with a straw, I ate every last bite of that sandwich and I will never forget it SERIOUSLY one of the best days of my life, I love potbellys Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat a lot maybe one meal a day, this food was so damn delicious for a skinny kid like me!
I've been here multiple times and lately, there have been multiple issues. Last week they charged me for 2 sandwiches when I only had one, then had to refund me the difference. Today my sandwich was basically inedible. I ordered the new jalapeno chicken sandwich, stated I would like lettuce, tomato and onion. There was absolutely no tomato and I had to pick out several pieces of onion skin throughout the sandwich. There was so much cream cheese on it, it was pouring out of the sides. There was hardly any chicken, so it was a sandwich full of cream cheese, lettuce, and onion. Potbelly has great, fresh ingredients but lately the service has been subpar. At this point I would rather go to Subway. Huge bummer since I prefer Potbelly's fresh ingredients and options.
I really liked the sandwiches here. They were fresh, tasty and served fast. The service was really friendly and we were comped a cookie due to a very minor delay.
Really good sandwich. Nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I will Definitely eat here again.Food: 4/5
