We walked up to order and we were warned that two meats were not available. We decided just to order what was available. After they started heating our sandwiches, we walked over to order toppings. We were then told that there were no tomatoes, no onions, peppers, mayonnaise, avocado with very little attempt at kindness. I asked if I could sub ranch because there was no mayonnaise and was informed that I would have to pay a dollar extra. I asked why I would have to pay for ranch when the other things were unavailable. My son had ordered a BLT that was only bacon and lettuce! The lady helping us was very rude and argued that I could just use mustard. My husband ordered chili and asked for a spoon and was told that there were no spoons. Needless to say, the employees were rude about that as well and told him to just use a fork.

How do I give zero stars? Horrrible horrible service. Not sure who owns this place but everyone needs to be fired. Came for dinner, one word barks with only four things: white bread, cheese and turkey/chicken. Nothing available. Only mayo and pickles for condiments, nothing on the menu. People there did not want to work with the worst attitude I’ve ever seen.

I love the Potbelly Wreck.  Great comfort food.  The manager and staff were helpful, kind and made me feel like I mattered.  An uncommon experience at many fast food restaurants.

Bait and switch. I ordered a small sized sandwich which was on their menu outside but the employee claimed they don’t have small sandwiches and tried to sell me a higher priced medium. Do not buy anything from this place and do not enforce their illegal practices.

Okay service. Higher prices airport I really enjoyed my sandwich! In and out in a minute, not bad. The restaurant is similar to quiznos or subway.

Utter garbage! I make my orders as easy as possible to ease the burden and it still gets messed. If I order every topping on my sandwich that's listed in the window behind you in big letters and then ask for one exception and that's go easy on the mayo.... Seems pretty easy right? Guess not, because I some how, ended up with lettuce, tomato, onions, extra mayo and mayo blotches on the bag that was handed to me. The sandwich is just barely wrapped enough to support the integrity of the sandwich and when you open the wrapping, it looks like a 2 year old grabbed a bunch of random bits of food and threw it on some bread. To add insult to injury, this location is in an airport were the cost is jacked up. This location is not the rule , it is the exception. Almost every other location is great with great staff. This location is the needle in the haystack.

Somehow managed to forget the avocado on my AVO-TURKEY SANDWICH. Also out of tomato and pickles somehow? No hair nets, visibly disgruntled employees. Take your business somewhere else.

Wow, Detroit nice first impressions.  Bossy and rude employees. Yelling out orders and no water cup. If I wanted a cup I had to pay what a drink would be. Guess what I went somewhere else to get a drink.

Worst potbelly shop ever!!! Please don't go there Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!! They act like they were forced to work. Ordered grilled chicken with avocado, this is what I got. Avocado was hard as a stone, with the peel on. Chicken and cheese looked like it was made yesterday, very stale not warm. The bag/ package had avocado allover it The soup was called Ordered a smoothie, they gave me a shake and it was stale Good news: called them to complain, the woman on the phone wasn't rude. She apologized. Was scared to go back, just threw the whole meal away

Husband there 11-something am on Sunday 5/29/22, walked up to counter & smiled and female there walked up and said "WHAT!?".  Yes, that was the sole "greeting, an angry  "What!?"  Okay, he patiently asked for whatever sandwich it is he usually gets and she clearly annoyed said "We don't have that."  STILL being the kind person he is, he asked "what do you think is good?," to which she WALKED AWAY from the counter so he got NOTHING.  WHO allows their business to be run like this? Potbelly corporate need to control their brand & have a chat with any franchisee that hires employees determined to ruin it.  If a seemingly disinterested franchisee WANTS to lose money, just CLOSE it or get your act together!  If you CARE and want to prove they seem to be trying to bankrupt you and ruin the entire Potbelly brand, send people they don't know to the counter of ALL backgrounds and see for yourself.  It is clear from the reviews on here that are obviously real, that they never actually do anything about this long time problem, and respond mainly to the few laughable 5-star "reviews." Anyone actually there can see what reality is.  NOT interested in chatting with anyone who runs a business like that, so SAVE it with the customer service email nonsense that nothing has resulted from,  outlined by the previous reviews from others here and elsewhere.
