There's no reason than to give this Micky D's a solid 4 stars. Easy. I know the menu. Well situation. It is at the beginning of Terminal A. Fast and efficient.  I know I can afford it. Get your condiments to the left. If you have an app, you can order ahead of the line.  The line can stretch into the terminal but it goes fast. I appreciated there being a nice place for me to sit and relax a few minutes before squeezing into the tin can they call an airplane nowadays. I ordered a sausage McMuffin with cheese meal and a small coffee for $8.14 USD. I put the coffee in my thermos for the flight home. The breakfast sandwich a solid 8 out of 10. The muffin was a bit chewy and the sausage could have been hotter. The cheese was melty which was terrific. I think most people would think it perfectly good. But I've had better. For the best McDonald's I've ever been to, visit my Anchorage McDonald's review. Amazing.

Worst McDonalds ever been to. Like most reviews say they’re slow, my cheese burger was cold. They forgot my fry an burger for my wife. And had to wait 10 min for an apple pie. People didn’t care about their job here. Please do better.

Burger was fine. They did however serve me a partially cooked chicken sandwich- half was cooked, half was raw. Unfortunately, I had to discover the hard way.

The ordering kiosk did not print receipt after placing the order. Andrea took the details of the order, made sure order was placed,  worked with the manager Chuck and served the hot and nice breakfast to the table. She was smiling, friendly and courteous. She made our day. Thanks.

After bad experience with McDonalds in Germany three years ago, I've decided not to go ever again. I've breached my decision in DTW, to see if there's any difference in States and if they eventually do it better. I can assure you, no difference and nothing better. Two stars are for speedy service. Considering food, it would be minus one star. The picture is self-explanatory. And this should be the "Double quarter pounder", so relatively higher end. Wow. I better don't imagine how the simple Hamburger would look like then ... :-/

Never again! Every time I travel though here all I want is some comfort food. I usually am forgiving and give multiple chances, but I’m done with this location! Todays screw up was I ordered a large triple cheese burger meal, with ketchup, Mayo, tomato, and lettuce only. When the lady called my number she hands me my bag of food and a medium drink. She then kindly gave me a large cup when I informed her that I had gotten a large meal. While waiting on the large cup, I noticed that I didn’t get any fries. So I addressed that, and she kindly got me my large fry. So I make my way to my flight. Once I on board, I open my sandwich up and there’s no Mayo or lettuce, and instead there is onion, mustard, and pickle. SO MAD!!!

For this McDonald’s to be at the airport they are very slow and they don’t seem to care. If you have a flight to catch you better rethink about eating here. There’s 3 to 4 people standing around 1 working and none of them seems to care they act like there doing you a favor. This place should only wait on 2 people at a time or there overwhelmed. If I was the owner of this place I would fire myself.

Sign outside the restaurant encourages customers to place orders on the mobile app. Imagine my surprise when I walk up to the register to pick up my mobile app order and the lady on shift who looked like she hates her job tells me "we don't do mobile orders. You gotta place the order right here at the register". Then 5 seconds later one of her colleagues yells out my number

I actually really like the McDonald's at DTW, because unlike most airport McDonald's, the price hike isn't that bad.  Probably due to the reasonable pricing, the line tends to be quite long, no matter what hour of the day it is.  Once you do get your order placed, the food service speed is very reasonable.  Another highlight of this airport McDonald's is that the fountain drink is self-serve, like a normal McDonald's.  That means unlimited refills unlike some airport locations that doesn't allow refills.  The seating area is small, but the workers seems to always keep the area tidy whenever I've stopped through.  Really one of the best airport McDonald's in the country.

I ordered the double quarter pounder with cheese combo. The double pounder and fries was good. I deducted stars for the wait time which was at least 10 minutes, plus the dirty tables and overflowing garbage can. I give 3 1/2.Food: 4/5
