This location messed my order up and made it impossible to contact them about. Food was very oily and poorly put together. I ordered a wreck with hot peppers and there was more oil than peppers. The sandwich was cold when the sandwiches are supposed to be hot.I attempted to call several times with no response and could not get help on the website either
Food is good and quick, but if you order ahead double check to make sure you got your Add Ons. Ordered Double provolone today and got 0 provolones :Food: 3/5
Could not call in an order because the lady said they were busy. So I go around the corner, five minute walk. I walk in they is one person in line. The system would not take the order on the phone because the system was down. If you want our money please do better.Food: 3/5
I come here a lot almost everyday for lunch! Definitely not coming back. Employee named Janee Ja-ney with pink hair was the rudest. She literally yelled at me for not understanding what she was saying. When I sat down and about to eat my salad, she started talking loud walking around saying “everybody called out today etc.” complaining that she was by herself, literally looked and sound frustrated. It wasn’t even busy. I was the only customer there. Yes! she was having a bad day but it’s not right to take her frustration on me or to anybody else. I ordered a farmhouse salad and the salad was not fresh at all. Looks like greens sitting in the fridge for two weeks. Disappointing.
The staff here are awesome. Always attentive and willing to help. Fast service and great food. Very clean establishment and reasonable prices. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian list is well thought out but I wish there was more option s. Kid-friendliness: The kid menu is great Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, plus staff members are always ready to take your order, so you don't need to get into any lines
I wish I had the name of the 2 wonderful individuals that prepared our order!! I haven't been to a potbelly since i lived in Seattle years ago. And those 2 really did a wonderful job reminding me why i loved ordering sandwiches from there. I am sad my trip was so short! 10/10 will come back again!Food: 5/5
Went in for a visit today, the person making my sandwich and training another young man was very rude and stand offish. Her attitude was disruptive and we weren’t greeted upon entry.Service: 1/5
The sandwich and soup turned out ok. The service I received was not professional and I literally could not understand what the lady behind the counter was saying to me. At some point the entire ordering experience was lost in translation. The group of female employees were more concerned with there conversation than serving me. I clearly stated I wanted lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and hot peppers on my sandwich. When my sandwich was being wrapped I asked about the onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles-the young lady said I didn’t ask for any. Instead of being confrontational I repeated what I wanted on my sandwich. But wait, it gets worse. The cashier gets my order and ask if I need anything else, I didn’t. I pay with my credit card and I look back at the cashier after standing there for 10 seconds and she says “what!?!?!” to which I replay “my receipt” she hand me the receipt with an attitude then walks away as it I’m the one who has a problem. Really? This was on Wednesday October 16 at approximately 15:15hr. I really hope someone from corporate reads this. New training or a refresher course in customer service is needed ASAP.
The food is great. That's to be expected from a sandwich joint that has survived the pandemic in gallery place Chinatown DC. But what makes this a great place are the workers. Such a nice group of people. Joking and conversating with the customers. They create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. And I am grateful for that. Not everyday is a great day and walking into a sandwich shop full of people with great vibes can help to clear one's skies.
Went in yesterday for a late lunch and asked the only gentleman there for a big wreak with everything except oil. He gave me the wrong size sandwich and charged me for a big I didn’t notice till I pulled out of the bag. Also it was covered in oil after asked me back no oil which I replied yes no oil.Food: 3/5
