Trevor was more than helpful when our party of 4 wanted to mountain bike for the day. He got all the bikes prepped and ready for us and even drove us up to the top of the mountain trail. He’s easy going and a nice guy to deal with. When we were a few minutes over the time limit he didn’t care. Potter’s is a great place to rent equipment of all different kinds and I would recommend them for their selection and customer service.

Came up to big bear for a few days to enjoy the outdoors. They were very friendly at Potters and took us up to the top of the mountain for mountain biking. What an amazing and fun time. Thanks for the great service!

I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. The equipment is in bad shape, their customer service is horrible especially Trevor, and they are not reasonable. We (family of 4) checked out the equipment for a certain amount of days, and confirmed with their staff when we could return the equipment. They never informed us that we had to return the equipment by a specific time to avoid being charged an additional day. It was obvious the equipment wasn't used at all that day. We returned everything early during the day. We spoke to the manager who didn't care about the confusion or lack of explanation. They didn't even provide any documentation stating what would happen if the equipment wasn't returned by a specific time. The manager stated that he was going to charge my credit card on file without my authorization. Don't rent any equipment from this company because they will rip you off!

Potters is the best! Great personal service. They will make sure that you have the right gear for you and your family. We use them every time we are in big bear. Highly recommended.

I'm an avid skier and typically rent equipment and I think that this shop offered the BEST rental experience for skis I have ever had. Their service staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment and the conditions on which I intended to use it. Finally, I think this place has the greatest value for the experience and I highly recommend this as your FIRST place to look for equipment for Snow Summit or Big Bear skiing!
