This is a hidden delight! This is a small,quaint place in a shopping center. The menu is on a board on the wall which you order from, to keep food good quality the menu is limited. Order counter person was very nice and helpful and explained the menu. After ordering you take a seat or wait for takeout and someone brings the food to you. First time visit and very pleased . We had the regular which included 2 meats,2 scoops of sticky rice and macaroni salad or other options. Wife and I very impressed,having been to Hawaii, food reminded us of trips. Sticky rice awesome. Very casual. Nice change from burgers.

Always a great experience.. LOVE the food!

Update: The Management Staff is easy to work with for catering. They catered the food for our wedding. I was able to pay for it ahead of time and have someone pick it up for us on the day of. The food was outstanding as usual and everyone was very pleased. Many are still complimenting the food after 6 months. Thank you so much Kakela, Luke, and staff!!

Every time we go food is fresh and super yummy! We love using the online ordering! Wish upon pick up we didn’t have to wait in the long line to sign the card print out. Wish there was a “pick up line”.  And sometimes we can’t place our order online because the website isn’t user friendly? I can’t select the last required action to add my food to the cart so I just can’t place the order. Anyways just wanted to give that feedback but no food and serve is always amazing. Thank you!

As others have noted, the menu is limited (4 meats, a very few side items).
With that said, I decided to try this place in the evening, and wasn't disappointed.
Meats were prepared well and were very tender (not overwhelmed with saucing too .. a good thing).  Sticky rice was prepped well, great texture and slightly sweet, and I enjoyed the warm macaroni salad too.
Price very reasonable as well.

Being from the West coast where Hawaiian food is more prevalent, I must say that Pounders really holds its own. It's not as good as authentic Hawaiian food, but it's darn close. It's definitely good, fast food and I would highly recommend it. They have a limited menu which makes ordering pretty quick. They have online ordering, but I wasn't impressed as the order was not ready when we arrived to pick up. We didn't arrive early to pick up, so we were disappointed we had to wait just as long as ordering at the restaurant.
