I've had a checking/savings account with Power Credit Union for about three months.  I've had no issues with them personally up until this month (07/2017) when I ran into issues with their overdraft system.  Most other financial institutions will not consider a transaction "charged" until the funds have been removed from your account.  Not Power Credit Union, even if the funds haven't been withdrawn they will still consider them as such and charge $30 overdraft fees (if the "Pledge/Hold" would put you over the limit).  On days when you're paid and then have your bills come out, it's like reaping time for Power Credit Union and they can charge you you fees for pending transactions that haven't even happened yet.  I would strongly encourage avoiding this customer-phobic credit union.

They treat you like a person.not like you are not. I HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF THEM.

Inside Bank Robbers, literally, and rudest "customer service". They took my $$ and Bullied me when I "made a big deal about it". I opened up a SAVINGS account, not checking, and left $$$ in in there with them? They made up some rules of "fees" that ARENT in the paperwork that were never explained, and robbed me of my $$ and closed my account. When you put $$ in a bank you assume it's safe . Michelle and Kristi talked downed to me condescendingly as they stole my $$.....I might as well went into a bad neighborhood and got mugged.....from my personal experience , dont give your $$ to them and trust them with it, if you have an account there, Close it and hope they give you your $$ back.
