I had the BEST hair experience here. I've always had super long hair, to my waist and recently my hips, but lately my hair has become noticeably thin. It needed to be cut and what I had been doing is get layers to make it appear fuller but finally decided I was gonna get a lob. I was extremely nervous about getting it done but when I saw the reviews for PR and the photos I decided to go here. It was the best decision I have made concerning my hair in years. Maiya did my hair and she is AMAZING! She was easy to talk to and she made sure to advise me on how to style my hair since I had never had it short before. She listened to everything I asked for and had concerns about. The end result is exactly what I wanted and I feel so much more beautiful.

I was referred to PR at Partners through a colleague at work and saw Mary Beth who transitioned my hair from dark brown to platinum blonde. It goes without saying that it was a long process and I was very happy with the results from my first appointment. I appreciated her patience with the entire (9-hour) process. I saw Mary Beth for a few more appointments for touch-ups then onto my color transition into balayage. One day, I had to come in for a toner and a haircut. I had to sit and wait for her for to complete color on another client for an hour. I had no acknowledgement from her or assistants. After that hour passed, an assistant finally began the toner application. I let her know I had to leave to go to work. 3 people had to blow dry my hair so I didn't have to leave with wet hair. I appreciated it but regardless, I was late to work and there wasn't time for a haircut. I had to come back later in the week for a haircut which also took over an hour (I have hair a little past chin-length). I wanted a stacked bob, but it was completely butchered in the back. This marked my last day at PR at Partners. Overall, every appointment I had yielded a lot of time (to wait and to actually get my hair done) and stress. I understand that part of it was because my hair was now bleached and it took a little more time to blow dry but the amount of time it took for Mary Beth to manage each appointment was really long. The stress wasn't just from my appointments. A few things that added to the ambiance: the salon is extremely loud (it's the combination of the music and the stylists conversations amongst themselves.) The front desk staff - through in-person conversations and trying to make/amend appointments over the phone - are never welcoming or pleasant. As someone who used to be a receptionist at a salon, it's kind of a bummer when you don't treat clients with sincerity and even just a simple acknowledgement of their presence - especially when they are throwing down a lot of money to make themselves feel and look good. I also referred by boss here and it is embarrassing hearing her also have similar unsavory experiences. I hope PR at Partners Downtown can be mindful of this and hone in on improving their customer service.

Very disappointed with the service. Very poor communication. I came for a simple hair cut. I had to cut my long hair to get rid of dry and damaged ends and it finally started to grow out healthy and shiny. Just an inch of old highlights were left in the front on one tiny thread of hair. I asked for a haircut. Instead was tricked into dying the entire hair. The stylist didn't tell me she will color the entire length of my hair. And DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE EXTEA COST. Now after 10 month of growing out my natural hair free of chemical treatment, I am back to square one with a shade darker than my natural hair. I am never coming back because it was simply unprofessional and shady. Extremely disappointed and angry.

Good haircut by Jacqui but unfortunately she rarely is on time. Had to wait over an hour last time and no one even called to give me notice she was running so late. Unfortunate the customer service isn’t better.

Pat has cut my hair many times. Quick, efficient, and does a great job. I'll keep coming back here.
