My favorite airport! Its so small and quaint. The TSA line is about 2 minutes long, the airport isn't busy, and there's a cute and delicious din with awesome burgers. I love flying into and from here.

A couple of years ago I used Great Lakes Aviation for the first time to Los Angeles to continue on an international trip.  I am a travel writer.  Upon my return I wrote a gratis article on the convenience and reliability of Great Lakes.  Since then, their business has grown to the point that they are now expensive...and...the charge for their flights depends on whether you are the first purchase on a flight or the last purchase on that flight.  You may pay far more if you purchase late.  I do not agree with this form of business.  I will not use Great Lakes again.

Absolutely terrible service. First experience: airport made excuse after excuse for why the plane couldn't fly to LAX from Prescott, including that there was "too much smog"...DUH - it's LA...the passengers never ended up making it to LAX. Second experience: delay in flying to LAX due to mechanical issues. Was never notified that the plane, after being fixed, was still in LA and had not begun its route back to Prescott to then return to LA. No time frame given for when passengers could expect their flight to actually leave. Uncertainty as to whether this flight will make it to LAX...Very unsatisfied customer.
