A not- crazy airport! Relatively small and friendly. Airport staff are courteous and helpful. Easier to park, convenient to go to Gates and security screening. There are only few restaurants and some of them seem to close early in the evening. So if you are flying late, it might be a good idea to either have some snacks beforehand or pack some food. 
Sky train is a great service and connected to the local public transport services.
Overall, a very good airport.

This is an interesting airport and a good preview of Phoenix.  Everything is spaced fairly far apart.  They do have awesome employees driving carts to take you the distances that are outside between terminals.  If you are taking the train, be sure you give yourself a decent commute time for the arrival time your phone gives you because from start to end it can take longer than you might expect.  Just like the city, the place is clean and filled with happy employees.

great place to fly, planes in amazing shape, staff well manners and safe. And the bad reviews on this  place are a lies and millions of people fly through and are very happy with it. This airport has had nothing but shining reviews from everyone i know. I have lived in Arizona all my life and i would never fly anywhere else than Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Most of all it gives great consideration to the underage flyers that ride alone they board with an escort if asked and they are kept close to the Stuarts and do not leave the child's side until the parent or guardian comes to pick there child up.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is one of the best airports I have traveled through. Terminal 4 restaurants are top notch, with a very diverse selection available. Parking is well marked and short-term parking is reasonable. The employees are very helpful and pleasant. The airport is surprisingly clean!

Less hassles!

Pros: This airport is easy to find and the signs are easy to read as well. Dropping off passengers for departures is easy too. The security is not as strict, and will give you a chance to say your goodbyes and gather your belongings at the curbside. There are 2 lanes dedicated for dropping off as well which is definitely a plus. There are a lot of food places and shops on the inside prior to going through the TSA check-in. Walk/Stand escalators are offered throughout the facility, which is helpful if you are looking to peruse and not in a hurry. The seating at each gate is spacious and there are charging stations as well. Overall, I felt comfortable waiting for my flight to depart.

Cons: The signs inside are a little confusing so be sure to pay attention and/or ask prior to walking all the way down to a terminal. For instance, I was looking for Gate B, and assumed I was heading in the right direction since the signs read Gates A-D. I figured this meant Gates A through D, not A and D only. I had to take a long journey back the other way to Gates B-C. Other then that, this Phoenix Sky Harbor airport is one of the better ones.
