Not an easy experience for such a sensitive service. I lost my DomDoms in my arms at home on Friday 11/10/17 @ 230am. I watched him die of a heart attack in my arms, so naturally I was very sensitive that morning. After 7am, I finally worked up the courage to call around to find out who could cremate my sweet boy and get paw prints made so that I may have a memorial tattoo done for him. I found Precious Paw Prints available close by in Fallon. I could not find hours listed so I called a little after 7 hoping to hear hours on the machine. Unexpectedly, the lady ended up answering the phone. I asked "I was wondering if you cremate pets." to which she replied "Uh, you can go ahead and call me back after 9." Rude? Don't answer the phone before hours and give people attitude about calling too early. I politely thanked her and I did as she requested and called back shortly after 9 to ask how much everything cost and when I could drop him off. She seemed to be nice during the 2nd call. She explained that she was out running errands and that she would be back in 45 mins (945am about). I decided to drive myself and my dog's body to the cemetery about 930. I didn't expect her to show up right at 945 so I did not mind waiting at all. However she finally showed up at 1050 am. I went inside and she told me she was running late that morning. I have been patient and polite with her throughout this entire encounter. She took my dog's name and I asked her "I would like the ink paw print on paper so that I may get a tattoo." She wrote down what I wanted, charged my card, and I put my dog in the back of her vehicle. She told me he would be ready Saturday and to call her. I confirmed "after 9?" She said "Yes". I called next morning about 930, and she said that he was not ready, that she had fallen behind and to call back Sunday. I asked her again "After 9?" She replied "Yes after 9." Sunday I called after 9 to which she told me "Oh, he won't be ready til after Noon. I don't go into the office on Sunday til later in the day." That would have been nice to know on Saturday. This experience with Precious Paw Prints was NOT pleasant NOR easy since the beginning. She is not open about her schedule at all. I understand she is desensitized to this service, but customers using this service should be treated respectfully and patiently. I was never rude to this lady, I was not demanding, I did not harass her, I did not deserve this insensitive treatment - no one does. This entire weekend could have been handled much more professionally. Not to mention the ink paw print did NOT come out well at all. They either used a weak ink pad or something because the paw print barely came out on the paper. Now I have to plan something different for the memorial tattoo I wanted for my dog. I will never get another paw print from him. Thanks for the horrible experience and I will be telling everyone not to bring their pets there. I would have rather spent extra money at my vet 30 minutes away to have had all this done PROPERLY but too late now.

We took our Bailey girl there recently and it was a horrible experience. I carried her in her blankey inside, only to be told to go back out and place her in the back of a hot car, I was asked nothing about my girl, I did not fill out any paperwork, was given no options for boxes, urns ect..., I had to ask if did paw prints. A man came in and was told had one in back of car to take, where did he take her, how was she identified with no paperwork in order to come back to us????? I'm heartbroken, and now feel like I have betrayed my girl. You also made me feel like was a bother when you answered and were having a phone conversation while I still had questions. I regret not picking my girl up and taking her to Reno, is only because I was so heartbroken and distraught, I didn't think of my other options until it was too late.

When I phoned the crematorium, the person that answered my call was rude, and cold-hearted. I was already quite distraught over the loss of my beloved dog, and was quite taken back by the response. I will now go bury my dog. Thanks for nothing.

Thank you Loretta for your Kindness, Tender and Loving Care with My Sweet Furbaby Sunshine. I was devastated and you were so Sweet to get her back to me very quickly. I am really Happy to have her back. The box is very nice, it was perfect she loved to stop and smell the flowers. ;)
