This place sold me an iguana with internal parasites, without telling me. I would never recommend it. I spent a few hundred dollars at the vet, getting him taken care of and healthy again. As a reptile owner  of over 10 animals, it is so sad going into this store. There was also a red iguana with a huge bump on her mouth, it looked like a cyst. She also had heat lamp burns. I've seen multiple dead turtles floating in the pond, and when i confronted them, they had no idea and continued to let them float there. I've met a few staff who is friendly and are knowledgeable about reptiles but they do hire young kids who are rude, inexperienced, and seem not know anything. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this business. Its all for show and money. If i could give a negative amount of stars, I would.

As an animal and reptile lover I am completely against this kind of business and I strongly believe all these animals belong to the wild. Saying that I know there are a lot of reptiles lovers out there that go over and beyond to keep these creatures happy with the right space and environment somewhat close to their own. Prehistoric Pets doesn't even get close to it. This place is a reptile jail. Terrariums are way too small for the size of the animals they contains. The zoo portion is ridiculous. Please free those poor alligators! It is one sad cage after another. And tell me if you will ever see in the wild 15 to 20 African tortoise of probably 50 lbs each stack on top of each other !! and they invite you to feed them for $3.50?? Are you serious??? These animals are intelligent creatures, just because they are different from us doesn't mean they don't feel pain an suffering. I saw so many depressing faces there I got really sad and angry.  Please stop with the abuse, close the store!

this place is amazing and just from youtube ; pictures of your place im loving it hopefully i get to go soon its my favorite part of zoo but its all only reptiels amazing!!!!!!
