They dont train new emplpyees AT ALL.... THEY SCREAM, YELL AND CUSS AT THERE EMPLOYEES... AS IF THIS WASN'T BAD ENOUGH THEY CONTINUE TO DEGRADE THE EMPLOYEES BY YELLING AND SCREAMING ABOUT HOW THEY SHOULD BE DOING SOMETHING LIKE THEY ARE WORTHLESS (Even though there was absolutely no training in the proper way this job is done or the proper safety) this is the worst job I have EVER worked.. a joke really... I lasted 45 minutes at this job on my first day and me and another new hire told them we would be looking for another job!!! I WOULD NOT GO BACK TO THIS JOB!!!!

I was one of the first drivers that started with Premier Transportation when they opened in Washington state. I feel I was treated really well. I worked there for about 3 to 4 years. Then Paul Proctor became manager of the Kent, Wa. location. I was making great money at the time. Then when Paul Proctor came on board as manager my pay checks were getting less and less over time. And I was doing the same runs as I had always been doing. I would try and talk to Paul about it but he would never give me a honest answer. I went from making $70,000 a year to about $40,000 a year. And nothing had changed as far as what runs I did. I was the most senior employee and before seniority counted as something but as soon as Paul got on board and I guess he wasn't fond of me seniority all of the sudden didn't matter. He would give me grunt work all the time. He would always talk down to me and treat me like I was less than a person. He started filling false complaints about me saying I was running people off the road all the time. Well if I ran someone off the road as many times as he said I did I would be in prison. I never once ran anyone off the road. And I mean NEVER. I know how to drive a semi. I had at the time 14 years of driving experience. I was always on time for deliveries and never called in sick. I may have gotten some people call into Premier because I would run the middle lane through the Cities and go the speed limit. Causing people to have to go around me. I'm sure that some people upset. But that is the most safest place to drive a semi when going through high traffic areas. Paul spread rumors about me behind my back in the office. Saying really derogatory remarks. The only way I found out was one other employee that Paul got along with and so did I told me. I had a clean driving record the entire time I worked for that company. On one trip to Yakima, I was done with my load and had to stop and use the restroom. The only place to park my truck was in the median on a not so traveled road. So I parked there put my flashers on, locked my truck and went to go use the restroom at the store. Well when I got out I seen this guy he was pulled right up to my front bumper in a pickup truck. I got in my truck and got ready to take off. But the guy in the truck wouldn't let me out. So I got out of my semi and went to ask the guy to move so I could get on my way. He said no and started yelling at me about parking in the median. He went off on me and said he got into a wreck because there was a semi parked just like I was and he went to turn and got hit. This guy was cursing at me calling me names. So I ranted right back at him. I know I was wrong for doing that. Finely I decided to make him think I was calling the police and that sure enough scared him enough to get the heck out of my way. Well when I returned to the office that day I walked in and Paul was there. he said I'm going to have to let you go. This guy called in the one that blocked me in and told them that I was driving like a maniac down the road speeding and cutting people off and that I ran him off the road. Wait just one moment, Don't you think the police would be after me if I did something like that? The guy called in and made many false reports on me because he thought I shouldn't of parked in the median. I had been employed there for at least four years. I've seen managers come and go. I seen employees come and go. I seen everyone leave and I was the only original employee that stuck around. I gave them my best. And when he told me I have to let you go he never gave me a chance to explain myself. He just took that guys word that I did all of those horrible things. He took a total strangers side and left the most senior driver there out to hang. I believe from when he decided that he did not like me his goal was to get rid of me and he jumped at the chance when this came about. Loosing this job was one of the factors that I got divorced. Not to long after that I found my self homeless. But I bounced back and found work. I just wanted my side of the story heard.
