HORRIBLE OFFICE AND GREEDY DENTIST! BEWARE!!! We showed up today for our annual cleaning. The Dr. Craig Nicolaus told me that unless my wife and I were willing to do what he suggested he would cancel us as his patient. What this was really about was several thousand dollars each to do work that was not warranted. We went to a really good dentist in our former state for ELEVEN YEARS and NOT ONCE did they suggest the un  necessary  work this office was trying to get us to do. Simply put a patient should have the right to do or not do what a Dr. Suggest!, They ARE NOT always right. And in this case it was just a SCAM to make more money for extra work that was not needed. BEWARE!! Another patient was at the front dest disagreeing with $6,000 worth of work they wanted to do that was not needed!  Lastly this dentist said that maybe we could find a MacDonald's dentist to do the budget work!! Really, do want to go to a guy like this?

Just had aveoplasty done in this office. My experience has been great. I'm healing well. I love my dentist, and my surgeon. And my new teeth.

Went to this office for 2 years but the second year was diagnosed with "gum disease" and they strongly recommended having their laser treatment and quarterly deep cleaning instead of normal semiannual cleanings. I felt pressured at the time and my gut was telling me that I should get a second opinion but went ahead with the laser treatment and 3-4 deep cleaning sessions. With no end in sight decided to get a second opinion from a family practice in the area. I did not tell the 2nd dentist and hygienest about my concerns so as not to influence their perspective and after a thorough exam (including panoramic xrays, bitewings, and a thorough cleaning with a scaler) they told me my teeth and gums looked fine and that I should schedule for another cleaning in 6 months. They did remark that over the years there had been some bone loss but that everything looked fine now. Bottom line, if you feel pressured or have any doubts I'd recommend getting a second opinion from another office. Frequent turnover of dentists as well.

6 month update: Just made second trip to new dentist and again after cleaning and exam everything is fine. Scheduled another appointment for standard 6 month cleaning.

They were very helpful and got me in and out with a tooth extraction. Even were nice and helped with my two kids who were with me.

This is by far the most amazing dental office I have ever been to! The entire office staff is incredible. They care about you as a person and do not treat you as just another transaction walking through their door. The front office staff found a way to help me afford the procedures I needed, without leaving me completely broke!!!! It was affordable good quality work!!!! If you need dental work done, this is the only place in town to go. I will be referring all of my friends and family.   

Thank you Prescott Valley Dental Group, you made this experience the best I have ever had at a dental office!!!!
