date and time of ER visit: January 10, 2018-9:50 PM As someone who works in the health care field for more than 5 years, I'm shocked at how terrible my experience has been from a non-nursing staff. The black lady guard who was stationed here at the ER has rudely told me to leave the area near the triage. I understand that there's a waiting area and since this was my first time here, I didn't expect such rudeness for not knowing it and thus, loitering unknowingly. A little compassion to a family member in distress is highly appreciated. The staff wasn't rude just to me but to another Asian young man. She shooed him away just like we're roaches. Apparently, we're not in the privilege race because she didn't shove away the white family member who came in with us to the ER. My parents and I shared the elevator with this preferred ER visitor. Here's my little plea: please have more compassionate and non-racist staff. It's not our fault if we're Asians and not white or black. At my workplace, I treat all visitors equally regardless of skin color. We always bear in mind that we're meeting the families at their worst times and needs to be treated with kindness and compassion. If ever she comes to our workplace, I'll extend to her the exact opposite hospitality that she has treated not only me, but another Asian too. My mom's doctor is from here and we love her. It's sad how the non-nursing staff has been to me and my fellow Asian. My advice to those who will have the unfortunate experience of bringing a family member here: please bring a Caucasian friend so you'll be treated with respect.

Filthy hospital. Only one nurse working in the E.R. My dogs veterinary office is cleaner, more efficient, and more compassionate. Two hours and still waiting. Will travel next time to E.R. Anywhere but here.

The Doctor's that I have seen are so great and they take there time and spend as much time with you so you understand your need's and treatment of care

Visiting is 24 hours, which my family really appreciated and took advantage of when my grandmother was admitted. The hospital is in good condition, all waiting rooms seem to be very accommodating. I would say the hospital was lacking a positive morale in it's staff. The nurses did not seem enthusiastic to help when were lost (the place is easy to get lost in) and they seemed to have a little bit of an attitude with us over their inability to submit our grandmother dietary restriction to the kitchen in a timely manner. Parking is also extremely easy, unlike a lot of other hospitals where it can be confusing/costly.

Came in when my wife had an ear infection. Was expecting an all day event but enjoyed quick service, relatively friendly staff, and standard hospital facilities. They solved our problem but because we both have healthcare experience, we asked questions to get the right service. Be sure to keep probing and asking if something the doctor or nurse says doesn't sound quite right or if you don't fully understand what they are saying. Would come back again for another emergency.
