Stands out from the other bars with all of the games available. Sometimes the games can add up in cost quickly but if you choose wisely you can spend a whole there without spending too much money. Every time I've got we've been able to play ping pong without paying for a ball because someone has previously already paid for one and left it there. If it is busy it can be hard to get a chance to play any games. The environment is nice but can sometimes feels a little dirty.

It seems kinda hokey at first, but Press Play is a solid throwback to bars that focus on having stuff to do versus stuff to buy. Tons of great games, several that are only a quarter to play, and a great atmosphere most nights. The DJs on weekends are hit or miss, and most are far too loud for my taste, but if you're looking for an inexpensive way to kill an hour or two, you could do a lot worse in Boulder.

Came here for a friend's birthday outing. A man came up behind her grabbing her breasts apparently a part of a dare that was encouraged by a game in the back room that was some kind of jenga meets truth or dare. The manager handled this so poorly I had to take matters into my own hands. He refused to kick out the patron even with several witness accounts of the assualt. Complicit to sexual assault gets you a big fat zero in my book. Very unprofessional and kind of pathetic.

I like press play, though I think that it could be cleaned up a bit. In part its a dive so I understand but I think people would appreciate it more and it would propagate more dignity for its clientele if it was a little bit cleaner and uplifted.

Throwback arcade with a good variety of games the bar has solid drinks and happy hours. Conveniently located on West Pearl St, popular with the college kids.
