Josh Kuntz, owner of Prestige Homes & Design, has more than a decade of experience designing and building homes in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Kuntz listens to his clients and works with them to design their custom floor plan. He partners with locally established subcontractors to build attractive, functional and energy-efficient homes. When a customer hires Kuntz and Prestige Homes & Design, they can expect a professional design, quality workmanship, responsive communication and exceptional customer service.

Kuntz holds a degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating Technologies, and is licensed, bonded and insured in the state of North Dakota

Josh was recommended to us by a friend. After our first meeting, we knew we would be building our home with him. We lived 8 hours away for the first 2 months after we broke ground. Never once did we feel stressed about not being close by. Josh is great at communicating and kept us informed each step of the way. He takes great pride in the quality of his homes and it shows. Josh will make your ideas (no matter how crazy!) come to life! We couldn't be happier with the end product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Prestige Home Builders.

Our journey with Josh began over Skype, as we used to live out of state. We were introduced to he as a builder from a mutual friend. We knew that his company was a newer construction business in Bismarck, however, we also knew that he had a extensive background in construction prior to starting his own business. So in a sense it was a leap of faith for us, but it was one of the best leaps that we could have made. Josh spent the better part of a year helping us design and draw up our home to the requirements that we wanted. He worked with us, sometimes on a daily basis, over long distance communication to ensure that everything was in order. Then began our building process in July of 2013. Our project took 14 months to complete, but Josh made this process easy. Each week we knew what was going to take place with the house. If there was something we needed to do or pick out for the house, Josh ensured that we knew well in advance and had time to choose each item carefully. I guess we always thought and heard that building a custom is very stressful, however, we didn’t feel that way at all. We love our house and truly enjoyed the entire planning and building process, which are two things custom homeowners rarely express in the same sentence. Josh was very patient with us as clients; he was great about dealing with the inevitable follow-up issues; and at the end of this whole process we view him warmly as a friend. Not all clients would be able to say that about their builder. We can’t say enough nice things about Josh and his company. We are so lucky to have had an opportunity to work with him and we would recommend him to anyone. Thanks for building us a beautiful home that we can live in for years with our family.

Josh @ Prestige is by far the best builder I have had experience with in Bismarck. He really looks at your ideas and makes them realities. If you are going to build a home or do a remodel to your current home I would highly recommend Prestige Homes to do the work. Built our dream home in less than 6 months and it was a breeze making changes to our floor plan with Josh.

Josh was so awesome to work with and gave us our dream home. We could not have asked for a better experience. He was so easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure things were done perfectly.
