This is what you get when there isn't competition.  The produce area lacks variety , the meat department gets avoided and more than once we've picked up items at or past its "best by" date.  The overall appearance needs improvement.  If the company would give this store an ounce of attention it gives the stores in Springfield it would be a great improvement.

Great store! The two guys in the meat department are awesome!! Go in to get some fish about 2 times a week and they are awesome to work with.

Very upset after reading all the great reviews,  our Scottish eggs were cold in the middle,  our Reuben rolls were so grease soaked we had to use our cloth napkins to squeeze all of the grease we could get out,  and still super greasy,  our Nachos were mostly potato chips,  hardly any cheese and the sausage was little burnt squares, have no idea of what it tasted like.  And our waitress dropped one of our Reuben rolls as we watched,  she left it on the floor until going back to the kitchen,  but didn't tell us, she was just going to short us until we mentioned it. Even though we just wanted to do happy hour this time,  it was a far from happy experience.  There is no excuse for everything you order to be terrible for reasons that were completely avoidable.  Don't serve food straight from the fryer to the plate,  or cold,  and put some toppings on a dish you call nachos,  or just call it potato chips. And when there was only about 10 customers in the pub, absolutely unacceptable food put out!

If you're looking for a speciality item in Nixa then this is the place I'll go to, but to do an entire grocery list there? No... The prices are higher for no actual reason. The employees are hit or miss but the majority are kinda unfriendly. I've even had one argue over giving me a raincheck even AFTER she was told by an employee who checked that there was none left. I know for a fact they give rainchecks and it shouldn't be an ordeal. The Starbucks employees have quality control issues and like to roll their eyes and get sassy back there when they think you can't see/hear them. Of course others are very nice but it gets to be childish at times. Their liquor prices are actually really competitive and their meat department seems above average. The bakery ladies are really nice, always.

I love the big store choices for a smaller grocery store and the employees are always so friendly and helpful.
