The food was amazing, but depending on when you read this review, the chef may be different so check ahead. The bartender created a signature drink that night and it was amazing. Staff were attentive and food was well prepared. I had the steak dish and it was one of the best I've had. Would definitely go back. We stayed in a 2 story 1bed/1.5bath in the Inn. The original vibe was carried throughout the room and it was very cool. Everything looked original so do not expect "luxury" and modern. There were no USB outlets in keeping with the original time. There was a heater, iron, ironing board, and extra blankets in the closet. Each floor had a fan as well to keep air flowing on hot days. The kitchen contained a mini fridge, microwave, and ice bucket, but the only ice machine was on the bottom floor so we didn't bother. However it was still worth it. I wouldn't stay on a regular basis, but on a special event I'd stay again. The view from the tall windows was amazing and you felt like you were in an expensive penthouse. We ate a wonderful meal and then retired to our room with drinks. However, the restaurant isn't open on Sundays and Mondays so that could change your experience with dining on site. I suggest you bring a base for your USB chargers, basic amenities like snacks, and bottles of water.
June 5, 2017: Fell in love with this town of Bartlesville, OK. I had a fabulous dinner and retired for the evening. The next morning I looked around town snapping pics of the fantastic and colorful bison all around the town as well as Price Tower. I even have a friend or two now in the area. Looking forward to going back one day.
This is a very cool place. We happened to be staying during trivia night. The service was excellent and our dinners were delicious. The staff were super friendly and our room was stylish. I’m not sure how many Frank Lloyd Wright structures you can stay over night, but this one should be on the top of your list. Five stars for the Inn at Price Tower.
The ambiance is so cool. It's on the 15th floor. Beware, the elevators are small! The food was very good. The menu is small, so look at it before going. We did not see the bar area, the dining areas are split up on the floor, but everything was nicely decorated. Our server took very good care of us and the manager and chef came out and checked on us as well. A good spot for a special night.
TL;DR: Disappointing. Likely would not eat here again. Would not recommend for food. I generally don't like to say disparaging things about service, I understand that staffing can be an issue and many people are stretched thin, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. We were mostly ignored. Our server took a long time to take our order, didn't check on the table and was generally not too pleasant. Primarily they were talking with other servers at the bar, so it's not a matter of being busy, just very disinterested. The food was bad. At least mine was, not going to speak for the person with me. It sounds like an exaggeration but it quite literally tasted like vomit. I had the vegetable bolognese and honestly the only seasoning in it probably came from the previously-frozen veggie sausage they broke up into it. You could taste the vegetables, but that was about it, the sauce tasted like a watered down tomato paste and the overall dish was very acidic hence the vomit flavor. The Price Tower is a wonderful building, but the decor in the restaurant was tired. There are very few efforts made to match the architecture with the wobbly tables and uncomfortable chairs.
We had an amazing dinner here last night. The pasta Bolognese was perfection. We shared the kimchi fries, the wedge salad and the meat pie appetizers. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and delightful. Great setting, great service. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had anywhere.
Had never heard for this restaurant and ended up here at another restaurant was closed unexpectedly. Just incredible. Chef is out of NOLA. Food is rich and flavorful. Had the shrimp and crab gratin and steak romenesca for dinner. Also had an art gallery that was amazing.
Love the atmosphere. Food was a bit disappointing. The hummus and butternut squash was delicious, soup especially. I’d order that again. Hummus needed to be served with more bread. For the main meal I had the Duck Breast. Was cooked perfect but I had issues with everything else. Duck should have been cut in slices to make it easier to eat. Wasn’t enough sauce. Was served with pork belly that was over cooked and not needed too much meat. Brussels sprouts good but only three were on the plate. More veggies on plate would be welcome. My daughter had the Duck Confit Ravioli. Pasta was too thick but it was full of meat. Strong wild mushroom taste that she enjoyed. Everything was good but not great for the price. Server could probably use more training but she was ok. Appreciated that manager came around and was visible throughout the restaurant. He was super friendly. I would go back to try different dishes. Glad Bartlesville has this gem.
The food was good, the waitress was great, but waiting over an hour for 2 adult meals and a kids meal was a little ridiculous. I expected the wait time and environment to be much better for spending over $100. I can honestly say we don't plan on coming back. Kid-friendliness: Unless your kid is patient enough to wait an hour and fifteen minutes to eat I have a 4 year old then I wouldn't say it's kid friendly
Loved our cocktails Sunday during my recent visit to Bartsville. We order a lot of the specialty drinks, each one was wonderfully crafted. I encourage you to try the stain glass, I can wait to have it on an Oklahoma hot day...so refreshing. We will be back
