No one enjoys going to court in itself, but I will say of the times I have been here the staff have been very helpful and friendly. I would like to shine the spotlight on the civil clerk's office. They are always pleasant and willing to assist with paperwork filed under your case without giving legal advice.The judges have been reasonable with the exception of one bad encounter I had with Abigail Miller. This facility is easy to navigate and has always been clean on my many visits this past year.
Good courthouse! Very organized and high-tech court cases get displayed on a monitor. Paperwork is easily available and lines are usually not a problem. Easy to enter and you can bring your cell phone!
The staff here is very friendly, the sheriff's in particular are very helpful and polite.
Hire yourself an attorney. Trust me. Do not trust the Victims Advocate Office or State Attorney Goodman to represent your child! They will fail your child. Attorneys and victims advocates don't familiarize themselves with you or the case until 10 minutes before court conveigns. Good luck in having the same team work with you. Case just gets handed off like a baton with no care or empathy. I am disgusted by this counsel and office.
This whole courthouse is trash because they're never have their things in order. How do I have two separate court date at the same time? And then say I missed one when the lawyer told the judge we have another one yet I still have missed court on my record. Trash
I visited the courthouse a couple of weeks ago to file some paperwork. I was through security with my cellphone and upstairs in no time at all. Waited about 20 minutes in line to file the paperwork and the lady behind the counter was very friendly. It was a quick transaction without any issues. The parking can be a headache, but that's really unrelated to the service/experience.
CELLPHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE! I have to inform you guys, who like me, has no clue that you can't bring cellphones inside the building. It's my first time going in here and I completely have no idea about not to bring cellphones with us. Plus the public parking is all the way at the back. So if you brought your cellphone with you then, you have a long walk back and forth. I didn't see any warning on website that cellphones are not allowed. I may have missed it but, hopefully this review helps other people. Other than that issue, the staffs were very nice and professional
Called this place about my very first ticket I wanted to pay off months back. The lady on the phone was so rude condescending and always talking over me. She needs better customer service skills or the court needs to hire someone else who knows how to do this job, because that was unacceptable.
I usually go to room 305 for legal copies and both times, the staff were very warm and friendly. Once was in the afternoon and this gentleman who is a huge Harry Potter fan helped me with my Notary stuff. He's so adorable! Then I saw Ms. Jacqueline Smith this morning for certified copies for my daughter and she is the sweetest lady! Mind you, this was 8:30am on a Monday morning! The only thing that was having a hiffy fit was her printer. Thanks Public Service Center team!
To all the people that work in this court house- please note that not everyone is a criminal. Please note that when someone steps foot into your place of business, it’s most likely for an unfortunate event. Not everyone can afford a lawyer. If you work here, please try your best to come into work happy, able and willing to help those in need. The last few times I’ve had to come in to file a modification to an order that’s already in place I get told one thing, do it and then get told it’s incorrect all while dealing with women that truly outwardly indicate that they are only there to make money and truly care less to help you in your unfortunate event. I’m so sick and tired of walking into this place and walking out feeling worse than I did walking in. You chose to work here, be happy about it and help those that are begging for your help!
