I started seeing PTA about 10 weeks ago for a problem I was having with lifting my arms. I had self diagnosed using the computer what was wrong with me and went to the doctor. I was half right in my diagnose. As I started  PT, I began to learn that the problem went a lot deeper and affected my abilities to doing some everyday tasks. I got use to my disability and just accepted the fact that I was limited. If I would have just stuck to the information from the web, I would have not gotten better. All the therapists I worked with were great and they all worked together in my treatment plan. The one therapist that I had most of the time was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions and would show me pictures of what my body was doing. I was always told of my goal in treatment and knew my progress towards them. Everyone was kind and very helpful, from the front desk to the clinic. You are known by your first name! Scheduling was very flexible with normal business hours. I would highly recommend this place. Each of the physical therapist at PTA have a good amount of knowledge working with multiple levels of ability. I was impressed with the care and home program follow through. Convenient location, no wait time, clean facility.

I've engaged in physical therapy on several occasions, but I came to PTA in Lakeside with the goal of managing life-long headaches. Working with Jon Otto as needed, my treatment was holistic, helping me find the underlying factors causing my headaches.  For the first time ever, I've been free of headaches long enough to have hope in a life without them.  Thank-you so much Jon and all the people at this clinic - I am deeply grateful!
