PROHIBITION is a 1920's themed bar in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, We are conveniently located right off of I15 & 215 at Fashion Place.
We have an incredible and eclectic menu that includes everything from Grilled Cheese of the week to Moon Shine Cherry Wagyu Steak.
Our Craft Cocktails are all made with fresh squeezed juices and ingredients and are made with love.

This is a great place to come on a Sunday afternoon and hang out. I did paint night and that was awesome. The only issue I have is that every time I've come on a Sunday they are usually out of some food I want. The food and drinks are that good though.

My family decided to give Prohibition a try and have wanted to for a while now for our cousin night out. We had a reservation for 14. When we got there, they had given away part of our table so they expected us to fit at the table they had for us. Why take reservations when you won't honor them? They didn't have enough bar stools and wouldn't let us take from another table. They had to find more for us and it was uncomfortable. The drinks took 20-30 minutes to get every time someone ordered one. Our server was too busy to take care of us properly and would walk away before checking with everyone. The food was okay. Most people ordered the same things and got them all at different times. When some would be done with their food more food would come for others. We had to ask several times about our food. One set of sliders didn't even come until we were ready to leave. 1.5 hours for food is unacceptable. The manager said she would take care of us but when it came time, she only took off 2 meals and tried to butter us up with shots of whiskey when a few weren't even drinking. The management was not helpful and nor was our server. They didn't do a very good job of keeping our business. The burlesque show that we had to pay a $5 cover for was like going to a karaoke show with a hula hoop. The Hawaiian dancer was beautiful but not in that setting. The bathroom was falling apart and dark. The place has potential but needs new staff, management and food. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I'm sure going for a drink at the bar would be a fine experience but i'd rather not.

Great theme and awesome staff.  Good place to relax and people watch. Staff seem to enjoy their job.  As others have noted, food service is a bit slow, but this place isn't for a quick fix.  Stay a while and enjoy.

Fun and unique idea. Arrived early so we understood that there weren't a lot of servers.  Initially greeted promptly but then took forever to have our orders taken. First round of drinks came out very fast and were clever, fun and very good. Unfortunately just got worse from there. Gnocchi came out burnt and cold. French onion soup unremarkable.  Where the hell is our server? Totally ready for a second round.  Butternut squash ravioli would have been very tasty but was also cold. No server to ask to reheat. Scotch eggs were really good. Once the server returned she genuinely wanted to make things right. A manager came over and was very courteous and tried to offer free bread pudding but we had leave. After all that we will be giving this place another chance because it has great potential. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad night.

Went here for girls night last night and had so much fun! the entertainment was fantastic and the waitresses were very attentive. It wasn't terribly busy but there was still a good mix of people there. the atmosphere is a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it.
