The worst pharmacy experience ever, and I have filled scripts at walmart.

First time I sent my script I was told my birth control only had 3 months worth of refills,
I tried to explain I asked my doctor to allow me to get 3 months worth of pills at a time, she proceeds to yell at me and tell me "You only have 3 months" so I called my doctor trying to clear this up. Turns out this "pharmacist" read the prescription wrong and I indeed had a years worth of refills. 

Second, I had asked her to find me a cheaper generic, she told me she would place the order and it would be ready soon. Called a few days later.....and SHE NEVER PLACED THE ORDER. I wasn't sure if this woman had an issue with me personally or was just wholly incompetent. 

They never set my birth control to automatic refill, didn't even offer that as an option so I had to call in my prescription every month. Today I tried to refill it using their automated system... my phone number was apparently not associated with that script number. 

I called walgreens this morning to have my script moved over, just an overall awful experience. It shouldn't be this hard to refill birth control. 

I highly recommend going to another pharmacy especially if you are older, and your scripts need to be filled on time.

Finally, after 8 years in Florida, a pharmacy that is wonderful.  Great, great staff there, good prices and it's in the store so if you need to wait for a scrip you can pick up some groceries.   I used to go to Walgreens and CVS and put up with some nasty people, such as Mark Youngross, manager at the Walgreens on E. Hillsboro and Federal.  Can't say enough good things about the Publix pharmacy in the Deerfield Mall on W. Hillsboro Blvd.
