Most workers are lazy. When I worked grocery customer service was key to success. Always feel like I'm a burden! The meat is not red, mostly brown. I only put base a few items, cause most of the products are poison! Filled with high fructose corn syrup. 90% of the products or more is junk food. Also natural foods (organic) like when I was a child, is overpriced. Why do we have to pay more so we don't have to eat poison? Causing poor people to decide between a little bit of good food, or a lot of food with little nutrition!!!!!!!

This Publix is a great stop for groceries in the Sarasota area. It's situated right downtown but has a spacious parking lot, the staff are reliably helpful and friendly, and the store is always well-kept. Prices seem a tad bit higher at this location than some others.

I would definitely rather make a drive to a further Publix. This Publix always has missing items, slow service, and lots of people. Sometimes the line consist of six or seven people with full carts in each line. Always out of bakery and deli items also. Definitely go to the Publix on Tamiami Trail for a better experience

Their service was really good except when I got home I found it they overcharged me. I bought 6 bags of rice cakes and I was charged for 7. That's $2.99 more than I should have paid. I should have checked my receipt before I left the store so now I'm just out 3.00 whole dollars. When you live on Social Security that's a lot of money this time of the month. So everybody check your sales receipt before you leave the store.

I Like the location. Deli is horrible. Either they do not have what you need or you get bad service. I think only one girl is really working at the Deli. Others are slacking. Today I was waiting in line for sandwich and the young miss who started serving me, saw other people walking up to the other Deli counter( looked like they knew each other). She didn't say a thing and just walked away to help them instead. Leaving my half made sandwich on the cutting table. Another employee came and finished the sandwich. Unfortunately they don't have the name tags.. The Miss, who failed to give me service, had 2 black eyes and obvious attitude issues.. Hopefully I never have to deal with her again.
