Save-a-lot is a great store. It all depends on which store you choose. Some I feel are not as well stocked. But,prices are Excellent. I tend to cook for the less fortunate and their pricing on their meat is excellent. Example they have their bone-in chicken breasts on sale for $0.99 a pound I can take it and save a dollar a pound because I will already strip the skin and debone it myself for about five minutes of work and save a dollar. Oh I can say is if you're trying to stay on budget this store is outstanding.

Filthy gross. I've had the worst meat from this place. I mean steaks you can't even chew that you have to throw it out. If you just want to buy packaged food okay but stay away from the produce and stay away from meat.. they have a couple of brand names but otherwise everything off brand. You have to try things out. Most of the time I have had bad experience. This is the kind of place you go if you want to buy a bunch of $1 TV dinners and ramen soup. Otherwise steer clear of it

great little store. I bought a lot of frozen goods, soda and bread from this store. I tried the meat a coupe of time and it was okay.

Fantastic customer service with produce department but the Meat department is completely amazing great customer service, huge variety in special cuts of meat, great gourmet cooking instructions just a amazing place to shop

Good prices and good products. They even opened up a register when the line got big and we got checked out quickly.
