They've really improved the store. They carry some new items from Martin's. Prices are fine. They have a nice seafood section and bar. Employees seem nice. I like that I can use my phone there when I pay. Nice neat store.

For a Richmonder the highest praise for a grocery store is to compare a place favorably with Ukrop’s and I will say that Publix is the closest out of every grocer in our regional market. The staff is super friendly and helpful — they make shopping here a very welcoming experience. The selection is fantastic and their meat, produce and bakery are high quality. Prices are reasonable (shop the weekly BOGO specials!). Publix is a much-needed addition to the Richmond area.

Easy in and easy out. Friendly associates. During the grand opening customers get a reusable Publix bag. There’s a Starbucks located inside. If you’re needing food or dessert for a catered event. They also have that for you. Hot food is sold as well as a salad bar and subs made fresh while you wait. They make sushi daily. There’s also a pharmacy located inside.

DO NOT GET DELIVERY. It is a complete scam!! Each item has 5-10% mark up for the in store price. Which is probably how they can afford "free delivery". I would also check expiration dates. Bought probiotics that expired aug. 3rd, nearly a month before the store even opened. Paid cash and lost the receipt so that was a huge waste. My fault for losing money, their fault for wasting my time. Also don't order shaved ham because it comes out shredded to the point that it's almost like someone put it in a blender for a cheese dip (which isn't a terrible idea) but regardless not worth the $12 I spent on it. On the plus side every single employee I have interacted with has been kind and helpful. Overall I would definitely say Wegmans and Kroger both have better selections and prices. Super disappointing considering this Publix is directly across the street from me but suffice to say I'll only be making my emergency purchases here. I might have trust issues but I've never had so many with a grocery store!!!
