This Publix is so far above ANY other grocery store in St. Pete area. The employees are so very helpful and when asked where an item can be found, they don't just tell you and let you find it yourself. They take you to the item. They are exceptionally friendly and nothing is too much to do to help the customers. I am handicapped and many times an employee has gone with me as I rode in a motorized cart and helped me shop. And they were friendly and courteous. I would give this Publix a 10.

Super Disappointed! I do shop at this store every day but twice I have been very Disappointed with the same person and today with one of the Customer Service Associates. about 2 months ago i went with my Wife and my kids to shop and I saw an old man, tall,dark skin, white hair pulling carts outside. I wanted to help him and i got one of his carts and he looked at me angry shaking his head left and right. Today August 17 2017 at 11 am it did happened exactly the same thing. He was on the second floor next to elevators with 6 carts and stopped. I did pull the first cart to make things easy for him and he started looking to me with anger again and shaking his head left and right. I told him: I will give this to you back, I am sorry and he said it's ok but his message hurt me a lot. Waited 10 minutes at customer service to talk with someone about this and finally i met an Afro American lady and I explained the situation and asked her: IS he sick or something since this was the second time that happened with him, so next time i don't bother him. She did not said ( I am sorry for what happened or anything like that) All she said was. No he is not sick. You can go and ask him. This is kind of Walmart answer. We come to shop at Publix because of customer service. We are not stupid.We know that prices at Walmart are cheaper than Publix but we want that customer service that Walmart does not have. These people should be transferred to Walmart. Very Disappointed. I am thinking to shop at Windixie . They have the same prices and they do have good customer service.

I have gone couple of times to this location because my brother lives in the area. Both times Joan has been my cashier. I have observed how Joan treats people and it is shameful that a company like Publix would allow this type of individuals to work for them. If you are a Hispanic or a person of color Joan will treat you like garbage, but as soon as she sees white people, her attitude changes 180 degrees. A woman like this should not be allow to work with people, and shameful to the managers that permits this kind of behavior (I am sure She is a racist and does it all the time).
