Went in at 6 on a Friday and it was dead.  The bar area is lifeless.  The food is really solid.  For sure get the Pupusa (sorta like a cross between a taco and a pancake or savory crape)  the fried chicken is lousy, $12 for 1 chicken quarter and some rice and beans. The chicken is bland.  I will say the rice and beans are awesome though.   Just get a bunch of Pupusa some plantains, rice n beans and you should love your meal.

Authentic Salvadoran cuisine. Great customer service. Very friendly. Delicious with great variety. Very impressed with their dairy free and gluten free options!!

The spinach pupusa was delicious. My husband also enjoyed his chorizo con huevo. Friendly staff.

STOP reading and go here! 

Authentic Salvadorian food. We were passing through town and came across Pupuseria Katarina and had to stop. Equally as good to anything we had in El Salvador
