loved my Pura Vida experience! What makes a salon is stylists that listen! Taylor listened to what I wanted and delivered! She even offered to style my hair and redo it if it wasn’t right! Great atmosphere! Even better conversation! PHENOMENAL haircut! Thank you Taylor!

My wife made an appointment to have her hair done, and we spent a week coordinating our schedules so that she could have some time to herself and enjoy a little pampering. (She's currently pregnant and I needed to move my work schedule around so that I could take care of our toddler so she could have some peace and relaxation while she was there).

Unfortunately, she received a call only moments prior to her appointment after she had driven all the way there and I was on my way to meet her to let her know that another client had been late to their appointment and that she had been bumped 45 minutes so they could be accommodated. Even after telling them how much preparation went into her visit, they insisted on caring for the other client and suggested my wife wait in the waiting room with a toddler for almost an hour. Understandably, she didn't stick around to endure that insult.

I guess if you're the kind of person who is chronically late to things and expect your hairstylist to cancel other people's appointments for you to accommodate your tardiness, this is the salon for you. If you're the kind of person who expects a salon to hold to their agreements and appointments and respect your schedule and time, this is NOT the salon for you.

That must've been some kind of VIP who came in late that they were willing to ruin the day of a a mother with one on the way. Not only was it unprofessional and showed a complete lack of empathy, it was mean. Neither of us will ever be back, and we will vehemently recommend that people go literally anywhere else.

This is by far the best Salon and Spa in the Brunswick/ Topsham area! I have been going to Lana for 15 years and even travel back from NYC to get my hair done at Pura Vida. The amount of care and attention to detail to each client is better than any place you'll find.

Who here wants a beautiful salon to go to and know that results will meet your expectations.? That's what I found at Pura Vida Day Spa. It was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed andI WAS MORE THAN HAPPY with the results! It was natural and to my shape. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the great experience and from being someone not located in that area. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about my trip.
