I moved to the west side of the state a little more than a year ago from a busy City lifestyle. Since being here in that little over a year I have packed on a whopping 20 pounds. I bought myself a gym membership, and regardless of how many times I went, I was just left with a feeling that it wasn't enough. I remember an experience I had in Virginia Beach in which I was introduced to Pure Barre and the benefits it brings. When I found the Pure Barre studio in Okemos, around the corner from my work I was ecstatic. So I stopped in one day after work and bought myself an introductory one month membership and I have to say I couldn't be happier. Each and every instructor I haven't counted to date has been wonderful. They do not hesitate to stay and spend time with you when you have questions about certain moves and make sure that you're getting it right. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to better their lives and Empower themselves

Pure Barre is a different experience every class i go to and that’s why i love it! For a girl who regularly works out but doesn’t consider herself dance savvy, PB offered me a different dynamic outside my normal workout routine that pushes my limits without feeling impossible. The instructors explain each move well so I could easily follow along. The results have been amazing and I recommend it it anyone looking for that non-boring, out of the box workout that’s fun and challenging at the same time.

Such an amazing experience! I love the vibe and how I feel after each class. The pure barre instructors are wonderful and always have a positive attitude.

Absolutely love this place. All of the teachers are very friendly and know what they're doing. The workouts are killer and always leave me shaking! I have never felt unwelcome in the studio and will keep going back for as long as possible.

Six classes in, and I'm hooked. Each one of the instructors is kind and encouraging and will push you to your limits. So far, it's been worth every penny!
