I can't say enough about Austin and Pure Physical Therapy.  I followed Austin to Pure Physical Therapy from the PT group he was working with because Austin provides personal attention and tailors his therapy program to the individual - this rarely happens at large PT groups that have to meet a large number of clients and are forced to standardize their care in order to get people in and out in 45 minutes (since it takes time to understand an individual's unique problems, since everyone is different).   For example, I most recently came to Austin for a groin injury during the middle of training for the Miami and Tokyo Marathons.  Instead of the standard treatment of rest and physical therapy, Austin tailored it to get me back to running within five days and thereafter put me into "management" mode, which allowed me to continue to heal and run at the same time (knowing that it would take longer to heal, but would allow me to train).  I was able to have a great day at the Miami Marathon and do a PR in Tokyo 4 weeks later. No other place would have give me these results. Austin not only gives you individualized care, he is the only PT guy I know who follows up with you during the week, answers all of my questions via email and phone, and prepares his next session based on what I have done during the week and how I am doing.  This makes the time with Austin much more efficient and productive.  On top of all this, Austin is a gentleman and a wonderful person, which makes the experience all the better. Even if Austin may cost a bit more than your typical large PT group, you won't be disappointed with the results and the personal attention that Austin gives you will either get you out of PT much faster than anyone else, or it will allow you to accomplish your goals while at the same time continuing to heal. I was injured five years ago in a car accident. I have had constant headaches, neck pain, and shoulder tension every day since. I tried chiropractic treatment for years, acupuncture, massage, medications, and other physical therapists. I would start to feel a little better and then it would come back with a vengeance. I have been at Pure Physical Therapy for 4 months now and have consistently experienced the most relief I have had in years. This is different than any other avenue I have tried and I'm grateful for that! I feel truly cared about every time I walk through the door and I walk out feeling better than when I came in! I highly recommend Pure Physical Therapy if you want to start feeling better and live a better life!

I want to take the time and congratulate Austin, mainly because he is an exceptional physical therapist and truly cares about your healing and recovery process. I went to Austin after being in therapy for over a month after a shoulder injury while lifting and after being told I would probably need surgery otherwise I would not be able to continue lifting. I was amazed not only at how friendly and welcoming his space is, but at his motivation and enthusiasm for the thing he loves most. His passion transcends and make you feel positive, and I truly looked forward to every single session with him. From the first session, and immediately, I noticed changes in my body and my injury instantly began to recover. His unconventional way of therapy focuses on a holistic recovery of your body and not only the part that is injured- his goal is to make it a life style and for you to learn while in the process. So far, he is the only PT that cared to teach me along the process, and to ensure I was making progress. One of the best things about Pure Therapy is that Austin, is always available to answer any questions and his flexibility is extraordinary and no other place will treat you this way. After just 3 sessions, I was able to start lifting again with my injured arm, and flash-forward to now, I am brand new in every sense of the word. 

I will be coming to Austin for the rest of my life and I strongly recommend that before making any decisions about surgery and listening to your conventional physical therapist about how you need an MRI and surgery to heal, to contact him, and explain your situation. He will most likely and definitely have a solution for you!

I was dealing with my torn hamstrings a little over 6 months. One day my co worker recommended that I go see Austin and within one sessions I was able to stretch my hamstrings without any pain. My hamstrings are stronger than ever. The best PT in South Florida. Hands down.

As a coach, I feel Austin is one of the few people I feel 100% confident in sending my clients to. He treats the entire body as one and provides a fresh outlook on how the body flows together. A+
