Story

Partnership in Therapy provides compassionate, professional physical therapy for both female and male patients suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction; sexual pain and dysfunction; urogynecological and colorectal issues; spine dysfunction; osteoporosis; complaints associated with pregnancy and the postpartum period; breast pain; and back and neck pain. Conveniently located in Coral Gables in central Miami, our office is directed by Dr. Pamela Downey, DPT, doctor of physical therapy, nationally-recognized expert, and adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Downey and our other skilled physical therapists can assess your specific physical condition and treat you in one-on-one sessions in a soothing office environment. Our team of certified Pilates experts is also available to work with clients to improve mobility and alleviate pain and discomfort.


Our practice is called “Partnership in Therapy” because we partner with our patients in their process of treatment. This approach involves listening carefully and thoughtfully to you about your condition and symptoms, doing a thorough, gentle physical evaluation, and crafting a plan together. No two patients are alike, and your treatment program should be as individualized as you are.
