Great place . Truly supporting lbgt community non profit. Run by volunteers

This is a nice little private non-profit bar. A membership is required to go except during the nights when they have drag shows. However, as a 1099-c non-profit they benefit the Sarasota LGBT community and the annual membership is reasonable at $60. Very friendly people there!

I was impressed how pleasant the staff was, even though my friend was rather inebriated when she got there and was a bit rude. I was even more impressed when I learned that the bartenders were VOLUNTEERING their time and the whole place was not for profit. It was one of the most comfortable bar experiences I've had in a LONG time and well worth the  membership fee. I will be back due to the simple fact that everyone made me feel welcome and accepted. Thank you Purple Rhino!
