When my husband passed away he was unrecognizable in the hospital due to horrific swelling.   His sternum and ribs were broken, both lungs were punctured.   I was so amazed by how good he looked after he was in the funeral home.    The staff was so supportive and compassionate.   Rather than a traditional funeral, we celebrated Ken's life with his favorite music and personal memories shared by family and friends.   Mr. Ocker and Julie were open to our ideas and this turned a normally very solemn occasion into a more light-hearted story-filled appreciation of how much Ken's life had changed our lives and influenced us to become the people we are.   I highly recommend Ocker-Putman Funeral Home to ANYONE as they are a family run facility and put NO undue pressure to go outside of your means to say good-bye and bury your precious loved one.
