We opened in 1995, we lived through the distributor wars, through the exclusive publishing deals, Diamonds effort to kill the independents, Magic: The Gatherings Rise (and fall as I see it), I have seen 14 local comic book stores come and go, Hibbs vs Marvel, Marvels “origin” fiasco, I was paid by Five different companies over the years as an analyst and for my data about pop culture and trends. I know the insides of the comic business, its ebbs and flows; it’s one of the things I truly love about the business besides my endless banter (with you) the customers.
