The Quaff has been here for years. It's a well oiled machine. The wait stay is totally awesome. The music is fabulous. The food is bar food. Good enough but not brilliant. Great place to hang out and enjoy your friends. Wear your blue jeans and boots or tennis shoes. Prices are very reasonable.

The Quaff Bar and Grill, a family-owned bar in its third generation, is a local favorite, serving lunch and dinner, as well as alcohol. It is a bit funky and comfortably run-down. The best aspects are the friendly service and the tin ceilings. There are also interesting photos of Kansas City past and long past. The downside is the food. Our food was very greasy. I ordered fish and chips. The chips were ok, though greasy. The fish were three little chicken-nugget sized pieces, greasy and hard.

The Quaff is your typical sports dive bar centrally located downtown. It has a nice vibe and the bar food isn't half bad. Great place to stop for a casual drink after work. They do have private invites there as well but the set up is a little odd for it.

Quaff is an old time bar and grill with a lot of good atmosphere,  and great food. The bartenders will all tell you that they are part of the family,  just not by blood.... Ten minutes into my first visit,  and I felt like a regular.  They have daily specials on food. It is all great,  but their burgers are the best anywhere.
