Welcome to Tanner’s Bar & Grill in Overland Park, the friendly purveyors of good times, fine food and the pause that refreshes! Conveniently located on 119th St, this local spot features late night hours, daily food and drink specials and numerous TVs always showing your favorite game.

Reviews

This place is usually a good choice if you are wanting to play bar games. They have a dart board, shuffle board, and a pool table. The dart board is a digital scoring dartboard and the darts that they provide are pretty used. The food is decent, and the service is usually pretty good. 

I have been to this Tanner's many times and usually the staff are friendly, but on one occasion we received help from a bartender who wasn't in a very good mood, and she wasn't friendly at all. I'd even say she went out of her way to show just how miserable her day was going. It's always really annoying when you get treated this way, but as I mentioned before this was a one time occurrence, and I doubt it happens often.

Tanners is a well run operation with the keys to a successful bar - good food, good beer, and good service.  Actually they have very good food and I highly recommend it.  Tanners is a great place for lunch or evening dinner - the strip steak is awesome!  It is a good place to have a few beers, unwind, and chat with friends.  They do have free WiFi as I recall.

Came here at 9:30 with friends to catch up and they are all 21 and I am not so I came and ordered water and volunteered to DD for them and we sat down and a group of them ordered a pitcher and then 10 mins later we were told we had to leave because I am not 21. They were not busy and I explained that I know I’m ordering water and driving and they still made us leave. Never come back here even when I am 21.

Food was great. Service was not. Waited nearly 20 minutes for a refill of water. Had to go to the bar to get what we asked for and the check.

Went there to watch the Tennessee Titans game with my daughter and her husband from Nashville. They switched to that game quickly. Cold beer, good food, lots of TVs! Super service.
