I picked Luke, owner of Quality Heating and Cooling, because he had s 5 star rating with great reviews by 5 people.
and because he's been a longtime Fallbrook resident and licensed business owner. I'm glad I did. 
Our home AC unit went out due to continuing days of 100 degree heat. I called him at 8am and he said he'd be here by mid afternoon. It's 103 degrees outside today. He called to say he was on his way at 12:45 pm. He got right to it and fixed it and  tested the AC unit  (needed capacitor replacement which he has on his large truck). Luke was finished by1:30pm and we're enjoying cool air again! It was less than $200.
He's a nice, honest and hard working local guy who told me he rarely takes a vacation.

Five star service from a knowledgeable individual - I was in the process of getting quotes to replace my 30yr old system. After calling Luke, I was shocked to learn that it wasn't necessary. He made time to come by and evaluate the HVAC unit and came up with a few suggestions to help the current system run more efficiently. He diagnosed the problem and got the A/C up and running to help beat those recent triple digit days.
I realize that, although he was able to fix my existing system, I should begin to budget replacing the unit in the future. I was pleased to get an honest estimate that utilizes the proper equipment at a fair price... 20% under the closest competitor.
Luke has earned my trust and Quality Heating and Air Conditioning has earned a customer for life.

I called to get a check-up on my aging 20 yr old HVAC system.  Meaning I was a prime candidate for trying to sell a new system.  He thoroughly checked out my system and told me to save my money. He only suggested that I might want to add a bit more freon to my system.  I thought my aging, rusting filter might need replacing.  He said Why replace what's working. I got the re-charge and could feel the difference inside pretty easily.  It got cooler much faster.  He also pointed out I was using the wrong type of filter for my system and showed me why.  I needed to use a Cheaper! filter for my older system. Now everything is working much better and I VERY HIGHLY recommend him.  He taught me various useful things about my system and how to monitor it in future and charged a fair price.
