Quarry Square is rich in history. Being apart of Milford's Granite Park where “Milford pink’’ was quarried in several locations around town. It was prized for its color — pale pink, with black flecks of mica. Many Italian, Irish, and Swedish immigrants were drawn to town to work within these quarries their descendants remain today. Quarry Square is graced by a gorgeous fountain illuminated at night, as well as an antique town clock at the core of the center.
