Having known this place for a long time, the librarians, the atmosphere around the library, and the number of books they have to choose from is still shining at its best. More or less this library is a local library so you can't expect that the books you want will be there but, you'll always find something that is similar if not the better in the vast collection of books this branch offers. If you live around the area be sure to squeeze some time for a visit.

In general, a small, decent library. The staff are pleasant enough and helpful, the on-shelf book selection is mixed, but you can find many books online in the system and have them held for you. Great new self checkout and when it works, a 24-hour book return accessible outside when library is closed. Close to cafes and diners if you want to grab a book and head out for a snack. Relatively close to subways.

At first I was so happy to learn that the Broadway branch was fully open, but my god they're got a long way to go til its fully functioning. I've been here every day for the past four days and there are a few constant annoyances that you must be prepared for: First, the air-conditioning is incredibly strong. Quite seriously, bring a sweater even if its 95 degrees out. Also, if you wear contact lenses, be sure to bring your drops. Second, its very loud in here (people talk on their cellphones without end), and since its understaffed, the desk telephones tend to ring forever. The internet is also very slow, but it does beat waving my laptop around in the streets like an antenna! Anyway, just a fair warning. I hope these guys get their acts together.
