My fiance went in Saturday night, to buy a bottle of Merlot for me. He asked the lady working if the bottle he was looking at was a Merlot (my fiance doesn't know wine very well). She said it was. I was very disappointed when he came home, because I had a long week and would have really enjoyed a glass of wine. It was not Merlot.
Monday, I went back to the store. The lady remembered my fiance, and laughed saying "Yeah, I lied to him". She did call the store owner, and explained the situation. Because she was not knowledgeable on taking returns I had to wait until Tuesday.
I went back Tuesday (Today). Another lady was working, and took the wine back, but wanted me to get another brand. I WAS CHARGED THE DIFFERENCE! I couldn't believe that the first lady got away with the laughing and saying that she lied, and now I was charged extra for the whole misunderstanding. I told her that I wouldn't be back, and that I didn't appreciate someone lying to my fiance. This is evidently not a professional establishment. They don't even care if the employee lies to customers to get them to buy their products. I believe that honesty is the best policy, even though most of the world doesn't live that way. I also believe that, since I had to wait so many days to get the situation rectified, I should not have been charged extra. The first lady said that they would "Hook me up", after I tried to come in there Monday. Where was the Hook Up, I ask. 
Needless to say, I do love to drink wine, but I will find a place that does not hire people who lie. That if they make a mistake, won't make me pay for it.
